Opening a Swiss bank account
Your Swiss employer will presumably want to pay your wages directly to a bank account. It is advisable to open a bank or postal account in Switzerland.
To do this, you will need a copy of your ID and a copy of your residence permit.
Accounts for students
For foreign students in Switzerland, it may be worth opening a Swiss bank account in order to save the fees incurred with a foreign bank.
Make an appointment with our partner Credit Suisse to get a consultation on your bank matters. You will normally get a bank account free of charge and with no obligation.
